# DevKinsta sites request FTP credentials when uploading plugins/themes

I am referring to another thread, that has been closed after 3 days of inactivity (what??):

Contrary to what was stated in the thread’s solution, this problem is not resolved. I am having the exact same issue on DevKinsta version 2.1.

Hi @cryptochrome . Welcome to DevKinsta! The thread was closed after a fix was release for it with 2.0. Have any of the solutions offered in that thread worked for you? This could be a new unrelated issue from what we saw in the thread.
