# Devkinsta sites stopped working after I installed Xamp that I wanted to use to learn PHP

All the site hosted on Docker just load for some minutes and drop off with an error saying :

"This site can’t be reached

**the-law.local** took too long to respond"

Hi @kay, welcome to DevKinsta!

Unfortunately we don’t test DevKinsta to work with other local environments. My only guess is that the ports that XAMPP is using conflict with the ones Docker uses. There might also be conflicting entries in you computer’s hosts file.

It sounds like you cannot have DevKinsta and XAMPP running on the same machine at the same time.
