# Docker Desktop not supported on Win 7

Would have been nice to know before installing DevKinsta that:

1. Docker Desktop was required
2. Docker Desktop is not supported on Windows 7

Apologies for any confusion, our [installation requirements](https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/devkinsta/installation/) list Windows 10 as compatible, unfortunately it’s not supported in other Windows versions at this time.
