# Editing local files on Windows 11 Home

Docker settings shows that Windows Home edition can only run on WSL 2 backend.

This is restricting me direct access to the local files for a site I pulled from Kinsta.

Is there a workaround for this, and if not, how do Windows users locally develop sites with DevKinsta?
