Hello @flat 👋 and welcome to Kinsta Community!

Could you please tell if you’re using MacOS perhaps?
If that so, I’ve seen similar case for Mac OS users and the solution for that issue was to run the following command via _terminal_ when both DevKinsta and Docker are entirely closed:

`sudo ln -s "$HOME/.docker/run/docker.sock" /var/run/docker.sock`

Once done, try to open DevKinsta again as usual and see if it’s no longer showing that “_download and install Docker on your computer_” ?

Aldo, if you’ve tried the above but still getting the same, then I would say to open your Docker desktop (with DevKinsta is closed entirely), then go to the docker **settings** , and click **Advanced** menu and set the Docker’s CLI tools to **System** , and also check: `Allow the default docker socket to be used` as shown in the following screenshot:

after that try to run DevKinsta again as usual and see if it will be running properly?

Best regards,
Agus
