# Local automatic database backups

When “stopping” sites with the new “site status” feature (which is really cool by the way! ☺), or removing them completely, it would be nice to automatically take a backup and store it somewhere in the devkinsta directory.

This is something that used to happen when using VVV ([varyingvagrantvagrants.org](http://varyingvagrantvagrants.org)) a few years back and I found it really useful 🤞
