# Running DevKinsta on Windows Server

Hi, I’ve been trying to get DevKinsta running on a virtual machine with Windows Server 2019 installed, so far unsuccessful.

I know that the docs only mention Windows 10 as system requirements.

Has anyone got this running on Windows Server?

Hi @pmzdev, welcome to DevKinsta!

I unfortunately do not have Windows Server 2019 to test with. It looks like the process for getting Docker to work with WS 2019 is [also different](https://computingforgeeks.com/how-to-run-docker-containers-on-windows-server-2019/).

I’m not sure if the DevKinsta app would work without issue even if you got Docker set up. Please feel free to submit a feature request for compatibility with Windows Server 2019, though.

Hopefully anyone who has gotten DevKinsta working with WS 2019 will share the process here as well!
