# Trouble Adding Google App DKIM Record

I have just updated my DNS to point to my new site at Kinsta. I am trying to add the DKIM Authentication record. When I attempt to add the TXT DNS record per my Google authentication, I receive a “Fatal Problem - character string too long.” I’m not sure how to resolve this. I’m not very techy, so advice is most welcome!

At Kinsta, we use Amazon Route 53 for our premium DNS services. Please note that this DNS service has a limit of 255 characters for TXT/DKIM records. If your DKIM record exceeds 255 characters, you will need to split it into multiple quoted strings. For more information, please refer to our public guide here:
