# Unable to pull a Kinsta site now

**Q: Date/Time this occurred (Provide your time zone also)**  
**A:** 12:00 BST 30/3/22

**Q: DevKinsta Version**  
**A:** 2.5 latest version.

**Q: OS Version**  
**A:** Linux Mint 20.3

**Q: Docker Desktop Version**  
**A:** No idea how do I tell? Its whatever Devkinsta installed

**Q: Were any error codes or messages observed? If so, what were they?**  
**A:** Just says “Something Bad happened”

**Q: Detailed Description of the Problem**  
**A:** Trying to pull a site from Kinsta. I’ve done this many times before but on latest 2.5 DevKinsta it fails. about 60% though I get the Something Bad error. Retries give the same result. Gave up and deleted the site.

Hi @alanj, can you please private message [your main.log file](https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/devkinsta/error-codes/#info) to me? As well as the name of the site you were trying to pull. I’ll see if any errors showed up on our end/in MyKinsta.

Sharing the solution here. We found out (by checking the main.log file) that rsync was failing due to this error:  
`[warn] [terminalExec] Error: symlink has no referent`

Deleting the invalid symlinks then allowed rsync to to complete without error/the Pull to work.
