# "Use at least 5 characters" - Arbitrary limit on site name

Hi there.

Just downloaded DevKinsta to give it a go, and ran in to this issue on my first install. Why is there a minimum character limit of 5 characters for the site name? This seems arbitrarily imposed.

Also, there’s no indication that that’ll be the (second level) domain for the site. When I see/hear ‘Site name’, that to me is separate from the URL.

I will forward this to our developers as a feature request (to have the ability to use less than 5 characters for site name) but I believe there was a justified reason for this decision. Once I get the response, I’ll let you know.

Can you please clarify the second part in regards to the domains?
