# Wordpres access through API

Hi, I am new to Kinsta community and need some orientation on how to properly update a Wordpress site through the API.
We developed a script to update a page and create a post on our site using regular Wordpress API and it worked fine, but after a couple of days, we got a 403 error.
I see that you have a Kinsta API to deal with everything inside your site and, as far as I understand, it must be used instead other APIs? Am I right?

To manage your WordPress site, including creating posts and pages, you can continue to use WordPress APIs. This hasn’t changed. Our Kinsta API is simply a tool that allows you to remotely manage actions performed through MyKinsta. If you need more details, please refer to our help article at [API Reference - Kinsta®](https://api-docs.kinsta.com/#section/Introduction).
If you encounter any 403 errors while using WordPress API, I recommend that you reach out to our support team via chat. We will gladly take a closer look to assist you better.
