# Wordress debug logs storing and listing

Hello
I am working on website that hosted on the Kinsta account and all work fine till last 2 week regarding the debug log storing.
I have on debug logging into wordpress.

Works fine and store the log into files call debug.log correctly.
Now from the last 2 weeks. stroing logs changes and now it seem it create file on daily basis and comment and gz older file automatically.
anyone form support or community able to helps, but actully changed in last 2 weeks.

Hello there π
The debug.log doesnβt rotate on its own (unless this changed in the very last release of WordPress). I advise checking whether you have a plugin installed that provides log rotation functionality.

I have only a two plugin called **Wordfence Security** , **WP Crontrol**
Is these one have the ablity to update the debug rotate?

Thanks for writing back!
I have to correct my previous statement. The debug.log rotation has been added to prevent debug.log from being inflated endlessly.
We found that some sites that had this enabled have had a lot of disk space being used and even performance issues due to large debug.log files.
As a measure to prevent this, we recently implemented debug.log rotation. This is a platform-wide change applied to all WordPress sites on Kinsta.

Is there any way to disable it using some constant define or someting else like from support?

I see this is being handled in a Support chat.
Nevertheless, to reiterate, we are not able to disable it permanently but we can make an exception for a few days if that would help.
