# Xdebug & PhpStorm - Still Not Working - Updates?

I’ve gone through guide after guide, including the old one from years ago on here about using xdebug and PhpStorm. But zero luck.
I’m on a Mac, now running Sequoia. I’ve tried anything and everything that I can possibly think of, but nothing.
I **can** get phpstorm to trigger when the site is started/stopped - but that is triggered via the cli. Which isn’t helpful.
I am looking for breakpoint support in the IDE. Am I missing something major here, or is it still not working for anyone?
I’d really **really** appreciate any support that anyone can offer. Otherwise, I don’t know what else to do but move from DevKinsta, which works great for my normal WP dev needs, but I need to be able to debug.
