SFTP error when connecting

It’s under WordPress hosting, but I didn’t see that in the dropdown for this ticket.

Newly migrated account. Setting up my SFTP client, and authentication is correct (different results if they aren’t) but then I get the message “Cannot display the directory content Unknown error. NO_SUCH_FILE No such file” I did not select a startup folder, and I cannot see that one is to be specified anywhere.

I also cannot locate any logs that can help me. Please advise.

Hi @ttremain Welcome to the Community!

Sorry to hear you’re running into issues with SFTP, I’d be happy to help.
The “NO_SUCH_FILE” error typically occurs when the SFTP client successfully connects but doesn’t find the expected directory or files to display. There could be several reasons for it. Can you please DM your MyKinsta URL so that I can check further?

In addition, you can view your site’s logs either directly through the MyKinsta Dashboard or by connecting via SFTP. You can refer to the link below for step by step instructions:

If you need real-time assistance, I highly recommend reaching out to our Support team via chat in MyKinsta as it’s the fastest way to get help. Alternatively, you can email us at support@kinsta.com using your registered email address.

Looking forward to your response.

Hello @ttremain :waving_hand:

Merineth’s shift is over, so please send the direct message to me with details so I can check the SFTP user.

Kind regards!

Hello :waving_hand: @ttremain

As per our chat in DM, I’ve tested the additional SFTP user and it works.

Since my shift is over, please feel free to reply here so my colleagues can pick up.

Kind regards
