Devkinsta Errors on Upload

Hey Guys,

I ran into the following issue when trying to upload my website to the Staging site of DevKinsta:

From here I tried to cancel my upload, which again failed - I then force quit the application and now I get this error when starting it up:

main.log attached.

[main.log redacted]

Thanks,
Ross

Hi @Ross

Thank you for sharing the main.log file. I checked it and I see a bunch of these errors related to the PORT of the site.

Can you restart your computer, and then try to launch Devkinsta and check if the issue persists. If it does, trying disabling the “Auto-detect open ports” in DevKinsta >> Settings page and set the PORT to port 80 and 443 respectively as shown in the screenshot.

Please also provide the following information to avoid unnecessary back and forth:

DevKinsta version:
Machine OS version:
Docker Desktop version:

I look forward to hearing back from you!

Hey,

I am now getting this following error:

I can’t access DevKinsta to reach the settings page.

DevKinsta V: 2.13.4
Machine OS V: ProductName: macOS ProductVersion:15.4.1
Docker V: Docker version 27.4.0

Hi @Ross! Thank you for your reply!

I am sorry to see that this new DK0005 error is now occurring when you attempt to start DevKinsta. Would it be possible to please share an updated copy of the main.log file with us? This should contain more information about the cause of the DK0005 error and will help us in investigating the issue.

We look forward to hearing back from you!

Best regards

Here you go:

If you can still launch the Docker Desktop app, it may be easier to delete all the Kinsta containers, images, and volumes. Once all data is removed, you can relaunch DevKinsta, which should automatically recreate the DevKinsta containers.

Please note that deleting the containers, images, and volumes will result in the loss of any existing data on your DevKinsta app. However, this process should allow you to start fresh to either pull your Kinsta staging site back to your DevKinsta or import the site using the backup option.

I now get this error:

Hello Ross

Did you try:

  • quitting DevKinsta
  • quitting Docker
  • starting Docker again and then starting DevKinsta again?
