I don’t have Mac here 
but based on the previous posts I’ve seen, that DK0006 error issue on Mac could be solved by running this command line on your Mac computer:
sudo ln -s “$HOME/.docker/run/docker.sock” /var/run/docker.sock
as also confirmed/mentioned by other user here and here as well that was marked as a solution.
Please kindly test the same on your end and see if that will help to solve the error (DK0006).
