External Drive is not supported for Project Path?

Installed DevKinsta after a bit of an argument over Docker and MacOS 11, went to set up the environment, and in settings > site path, when I try to point to where I want my sites kept, I get the following error:

External Drive is not supported for Project Path?

I use an external HDD synced to Google Drive to store all of my work. I there a particular reason as to why I cannot use an alternative drive for DevKinsta?

I’m having the same issue with DevKinsta on Mac OS 15.2. Is there any fix for this?

Hey @Soron thanks for sharing the requested info and the main.log file! It’s really helpful.

Just one more thing—could you provide a screenshot of the “Site Path” setting with the error?

I ran some tests on my end and was able to replicate the issue. I’ll be reporting this to our DevKinsta developers for further investigation.

We’ll keep you posted in this thread as soon as we have any updates!
