Unable to pull a Kinsta site now

Q: Date/Time this occurred (Provide your time zone also)
A: 12:00 BST 30/3/22

Q: DevKinsta Version
A: 2.5 latest version.

Q: OS Version
A: Linux Mint 20.3

Q: Docker Desktop Version
A: No idea how do I tell? Its whatever Devkinsta installed

Q: Were any error codes or messages observed? If so, what were they?
A: Just says “Something Bad happened”

Q: Detailed Description of the Problem
A: Trying to pull a site from Kinsta. I’ve done this many times before but on latest 2.5 DevKinsta it fails. about 60% though I get the Something Bad error. Retries give the same result. Gave up and deleted the site.

Hi @alanj, can you please private message your main.log file to me? As well as the name of the site you were trying to pull. I’ll see if any errors showed up on our end/in MyKinsta.

Sharing the solution here. We found out (by checking the main.log file) that rsync was failing due to this error:
[warn] [terminalExec] Error: symlink has no referent

Deleting the invalid symlinks then allowed rsync to to complete without error/the Pull to work.
