I’m trying to download my site onto a windows 11 environment using DevKinsta, and I’ve tried 2 different sites and it’s unable to download giving me the DK0029 error. Please let me know what to do to get this working.

As it always fails there, the error suggests that there’s something inside the table wp_mail_bank_logs that is causing this issue. I checked the site on this side but looks like the table is no longer present, were you able to fix the issue on your side?

I went ahead and deleted the tables for wp_mail_bank_logs, and I retried it. It was able to successfully get past that error, and it showed that it was completed, but it will not download the site. The site has approximately 1.37gb database size, and the overall size of the site that it shows downloaded is 1.27gb. At this point it’s not popping out an on screen error, but I do have the included log of what happened last. It didn’t work when I started a new server, and it didn’t work when I clicked sync to my computer. And the website will not start on the local environment. Here’s the tail of the new logs.

And also, just a note. The DevKinsta window after about 10 minutes will go completely blank. I thought that might be a minor glitch, so I let it run for a continuous 12 hours overnight. And when I woke up, it was still blank. So I closed the window, restarted it, and it had only 1.27gb total size. The development server that I tried which was Handyguy Staging should have been a total of 10gb, and the BiltPros Live server should have been a total of 20gb. I’m not sure what’s happening here, but I’ve gotta get this working so I can run some very time intensive tasks which arent possible on the live server.

Yeah if the total downloaded size on your local computer was just around 1.27GB (compared to the size of your actual site’s size that’s about 10GB or the other one about 20GB), that sounds like to be uncompleted download perhaps (I’m guessing if it might be timing out during the files transfer via RSYNC from the remote server to your local computer).
Could you please also provide us with the recent full main.log file, in case we can see more information that can tell some more details (that have been logged there)? You can send it via DM to me or @Alessandro .
Also, could you please do another test, but this time please create a fresh WordPress site in your MyKinsta control panel, and then try to import that new created site via DevKinsta. After that see if it’s working properly? Just would like to test if the site import works properly on your end with just that simple/fresh WordPress site (and if the site could be accessed locally with the .local domain)?

I’m currently trying to make a new server as requested. I’ve done it several times so I don’t think its going to work this time, but it might get you some good logs. It should complete in approximately 30 minutes.
Here is the tail of the logs on the new server creation. The DevKinsta window said Somethings Broken. It got past the database, and was working on the upload, the upload was approximately 5gb deep out of 10gb, It was on the Development server. Keep in mind, I will also be downloading the Live server at 20gb. So it says the pipe was unexpectedly closed. Here is the tail of the logs.

Hello @Bilt_Pros , can we try to temporarily increase Docker resources? This can be done in Docker/Settings/Resources/Advanced/, on that page you can increase the amount of RAM and the CPU that Docker will be able to use.

I found the location in the docker desktop. But you’re going to have to walk me through that because I’m not familiar with setting up the docker settings file. And I don’t know the default location of the image files, or how the docker file settings work, whether or not it’s a recursive setting, or it has to be put into multiple directories because I’m planning on having multiple local servers within the Dev Kinsta. One for soft testing, and one for hard testing.
Those are steps that can be done via the user interface, once Docker has been open, you can access its Settings by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of the screen
I know that, I got to the settings page, but they want a setup file and I don’t know where that is.
Oh I see, you are using WSL 2, hence you can’t change the resources from the interface.
Do you have any data in DevKinsta already? I mean sites that you have worked on and don’t want to lose?
If you don’t have any, you can select the Hyper-V as backend (from Docker/Settings/General untick Use The WSL 2 based engine) however that will cause data loss as Docker containers will be deleted and recreated.
I ended up fixing it, and its running on wsl2. Turns out I installed the docker at a prior date and I never installed the wsl2 prior to installing the docker. Now I’m having an issue with a 504 gateway timeout. I’ve tried adjusting settings in the wp-config.php and it’s still timing out. I tried setting the php max_execution_time line in the devKinsta settings on my server, and it didn’t work, and now I’m just trying to figure out a way to max out that execution time. Any ideas?
Also, the load time for the server is very slow, can you give me instructions on setting up the php workers and allocating resources to the environment to speed things up. It’s very slow from the start.
And instructions on getting the max_execution_time up, because I will be doing a task that will take several hours if not days to complete.
