Error When Pulling Locally Something Bad Happened

Hello,

I use DevKinsta regularly, and one of my clients’ website will not pull locally.

The error is: “Something bad happened”.

All my other sites are pulling fine.

Kindly assist.

Hello @natasha_nightshift

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue with your DevKinsta app. To help us investigate the specific error message please provide us the following details:

Please also send us the DevKinsta’s main.log file via private message. You can get the main.log file by clicking on the “Reveal log file in File Manager” under the Help and Support page in Devkinsta.

/Users//Library/Logs/DevKinsta/main.log

You can send it to me or to @VladimirM @jackirish @Andrew @Adrian_L

Thank you! Looking forward to your response.

Do You have by any chance WPML installed on that site?
It seems that from some recent version wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/wpml/wpml/srccontains folders Rest and REST which my pull can’t handle because of case sensitivity differences.

Had to rsync it from the server myself and dump&replace the DB.

No, it does not contain the plugin WPML

Hi Merinth,

Here you go:

  • DevKinsta: Version 2.13.6 (2.13.6.9096)
  • OS Version: 26.6.2 (25G83)
  • Docker: 4.67.0 (222858)

main.log file coming to your inbox shortly.

Thank you!

Hi @natasha_nightshift

I reviewed your main.log file and noticed the following rsync error. The site you’re trying to pull that failed seems to have a folder permission issue on the /public/.well-known directory. You can review the folder permissions or contact our support team to reset them.

Let me know how it goes!
